Bob Enos and the Sound Wave

 —  —

Rooster's Roadhouse, 1700 Clement Ave., Alameda, CA, 94501

Bob Enos is a prolific writer/arranger that did work for Stan Kenton and other big names during the heyday of the big band era. He has been composing and arranging all his life, and Wednesdays he leads a crackerjack 20 piece big band through his huge book. The players are all top drawer and have to be, given the challenges of his charts. If you like big band music, and can appreciate a tight ensemble, come out to listen and dance. (Did I mention that there's no cover and under 21 can come also?)

I've subbed for him a number of times, and loved the quality of the music and the tightness of the band. He's asked me to be his regular guitar player, and in a band with no keyboards that's alot of responsibility!

Rooster's Roadhouse in Alameda is the East Bay's underground live music hideaway. With a 200 person capacity, full bar, full kitchen menu featuring BBQ, phenominal sound and lighting system, outdoor smoking area and plenty of parking. Rooster's Roadhouse is a great place to enjoy live music ranging from local to national acts.

Someone else will be filling my seat from 12/7 til 1/12...check out the calendar in case you're in New Zealand!
